About the Role
In this role, you will assume responsibility and accountability for the care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Techs. You may be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in their absence. You will assess patients' needs, identify and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions, and work cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. Your key responsibilities will include observing and evaluating treatment effect, accomplishing short- and long-term goals, and recommending changes to physicians as needed. You will perform accurate and timely QI scoring and formulate and update patient-specific plans of care for physical therapy.
