Disclosure Statement and Background Check
Pursuant to RCW 43.43.830 through RCW 43.43.840, new employees will be required to complete a disclosure form indicating any convictions of crimes against persons as listed in the law. In addition, a background check based on fingerprints will be requested from the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Job Sharing: Pursuant to RCW 28A.405.070, the district will accept applications from individuals wishing to share a position.

Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be bilingual.
- Must pass a test for competency prior to employment.
- Must work cooperatively with others.
- Must maintain respectful, positive interactions.
- Must have good communication and public relations skills.
- Must be comfortable in public speaking.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and records.
- Must be flexible; recognize and adjust to different cultural backgrounds.
- Must have a proven record of punctuality, dependability, and consistent attendance.
- Facilitate effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language by converting one spoken language to another.
- Attend conferences and meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
- Accurately relay concepts and ideas between languages.
- Facilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency.
