We are seeking a dedicated EEC certified Part-Time Teacher to join our team. You will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and creating a positive learning environment. If you have experience working in a daycare, a love for teaching, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply.

Part-Time Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Gain a positive, hands-on experience with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Assist the Program Coordinator(s) as needed.
  • Flexible schedule based on your availability!
  • Create an encouraging, welcoming, and safe environment that helps promote positive social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Encourage and foster positive relationships, interactions, and communication between staff, parents, and children.

Part-Time Teacher Requirements:

  • Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool EEC certification.
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children; child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, physically lift a minimum of 35 pounds, participate in physical activities including walking with children, go up and down stairs while supervising children, and always maintain full sight and sound supervision of children.

Part-Time Teacher Qualifications:

  • Positive, reliable, collaborative, and encouraging personality.
  • Patient, creative, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, and write English.
