Job Title: Certified CPD Technician (One Room OR)

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Certified CPD Technician to join our dynamic team in a one-room operating room (OR) setting. This position is ideal for someone eager to gain experience outside of a hospital setting while working closely with RNs, NPs, PAs, and MDs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of surgical instrument cleaning, maintenance, organization, and room preparation.
Responsibilities: Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and tools in accordance with established protocols. Organize surgical kits and prepare surgical picks for procedures .Manage the cleaning and turnover of the operating room between surgeries to ensure a sterile and safe environment. Oversee inventory management, including maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies as needed. Stock and organize the OR with essential items, including anesthesia supplies .Assist in the setup and breakdown of the operating room before and after procedures. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including RNs, NPs, PAs, and MDs, to ensure smooth operations during surgeries. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment. Provide support to staff as needed and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
Requirements: Certified CPD (Central Processing Distribution) Technician with valid certification. Prior experience in a sterile processing environment, preferably in an OR setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks efficiently .Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory. Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
