The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track position (F0334) at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning in August 2025. The position is a one-year, non-renewable appointment.
Primary teaching responsibilities include biochemistry, advanced biochemistry, introductory chemistry (for science majors or non- majors), and general education courses for non-majors. A Ph.D. in chemistry, preferably in biochemistry or a closely related sub-discipline, is required. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate previous high-quality college teaching. A strong commitment to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching is required.
