JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a passionate professional and self-motivated team player to join our team and take over our wholesale account sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of job ownership, a driven desire to succeed and will have every opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and contribute to the company’s direction and impact.

You may have related experience in the food or beverage and/or consumer packaged goods wholesale/distribution, or a background in hospitality, food service, resorts or local food production. Regardless, what we seek is a perfect fit within our small leadership team, and someone who loves to nurture meaningful relationships and be an enthusiastic representative of one of Hawaii’s leading chocolate companies.

OUR COMPANY

Lonohana Estate Chocolate is a locally owned tree-to-bar chocolate company creating high-quality, fine finished chocolate exclusively using cacao that is 100% Hawaii-grown. Our mission is to help advance & revitalize the agricultural economy here in Hawaii by growing cacao responsibly, respecting the ecosystem and restoring the ʻāina through regenerative agroforestry on our cacao farm on the North Shore.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers; identify new and prospective opportunities; make in-person sales presentations
  • Expand availability, improve merchandising and promote sell-through of both current and new products through regular account visits and on-location events
  • Work with management on setting and reaching/exceeding sales goals & work closely with the marketing team to improve total sales of company
  • Work creatively to expand the vision of what the company can achieve including new product development

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available to work varied and flexible schedule including occasional weekends
  • Must have vehicle and clean driver’s license
  • Ability to commute to Honolulu daily (96813)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on an intermittent basis and to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Exempt

COMPENSATION: Annual base salary commission

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
