As a Shift Leader, you will play a meaningful role in maintaining a flawless working environment and driving outstanding team performance to achieve our business goals.
Job Description:
- Lead the team to successfully achieve production goals and important metrics, including Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Attendance, Teamwork, Timely delivery, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, and Costs.
- Mentor and develop employees to ensure they reach their maximum career potential.
- Ensure all employees align with cGMP standards.
- Monitor efficiency and capsule quality of machines in Manufacturing.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings and resolve any safety issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot both hard gelatin machines (HGC) and Vcaps plus (VCP) HCMs, Borsor, Unisor, ILD-iBox.
- Support customer and oversight audits for colleague, document, and training compliance.
- Generate reports, documents, and graphs in Manufacturing applications and report findings to management.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide mentoring to colleagues to help them achieve their fullest potential.
- Be able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, additional hours/days as dictated by business needs.
- Regular presence at the plant site is required.
Required:
- High School Diploma required; BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
- Must score 100 or below on the Color Test.
- Ability to make process decisions under time constraints.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Public speaking and presentation experience.
Desired:
- Orange Belt, Green Belt, or Black Belt certified.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and prioritize organizational needs.
- Experience in making quality decisions or dispositioning product.
