Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Operations Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers, ensuring that our computerized systems infrastructure meets production needs.
You will assist with planning and execution of projects involving computerized infrastructure changes and process improvements. Additionally, you will support our infrastructure (servers, networks, workstations, storage, and client devices) for Automation, Business Analytics, Quality Control, and other information systems used to support Operations.
As a Technical Operations Expert, you will maintain system integrity and identify performance and security improvements. You will also participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support to resolve issues outside of normal business hours.
This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days of on-site work and 3 days of remote work per week. You will have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on new methodologies pertinent to information systems and introduce them with limited supervisory input.
You will contribute to the design of new applications and solutions, execute test scripts with support and guidance from supervisor, and own change requests and participate in all aspects of the change control system.
This role requires a Bachelor's degree or significant related work experience, with preferred areas of study including Computer Science, Information Technology, or applicable Engineering field.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing technical documentation for networks and information systems, experience with servers, storage, network, and related infrastructure fundamentals, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
