A termite renewal inspector is a pest control professional who primarily conducts re-inspections of previously treated properties to assess if termites are still present, ensuring the effectiveness of prior termite treatments, and identifying any new infestations while also offering additional pest control services to existing clients; their role involves thorough property examinations, identifying potential termite activity, reporting findings to customers, and recommending necessary follow-up treatments if needed.

- Conduct re-inspections : Regularly revisiting previously treated homes or businesses to check for signs of active termite colonies, including mud tubes, damaged wood, and worker activity.
- Visual assessments : Examining accessible areas like crawl spaces, basements, attics, and exterior walls using specialized tools like moisture meters and probes to identify potential termite entry points.
- Customer interaction : Explaining inspection findings to homeowners in a clear and understandable manner, addressing concerns, and providing recommendations for preventative measures or additional treatments.
- Reporting and documentation : Accurately documenting inspection details, including photographs, on company reports to maintain records and comply with industry standards.
- Sales opportunities : Identifying potential new pest control service needs during inspections and presenting additional treatment options to customers.
- Compliance with regulations : Staying updated on local and state pest control regulations, including proper pesticide application and safety procedures.
