Loomacres Wildlife Management is looking for a part time wildlife technician to assist with wildlife mitigation on various projects around Newport RI. Working under a lead biologist, technicians will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating wildlife hazards and wildlife conflicts.
Early Morning Part-Time Schedule
Ideal candidates will possess background experience using working dogs for wildlife mitigation. Additional attributes should include experience trapping and handling wildlife, strong bird identification skills, firearm handling, and flexible schedule. Current position is part-time but may have the opportunity to develop into full time. Candidates with bachelors degree in biology, wildlife management, or related field preferred.
Loomacres offers competitive pay depending on previous experience.
