Summary
The objective of this position is to provide in-depth technical analysis and support in the delivery of valuation, due diligence and litigation related services for management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, dispute advisory, restructuring, reorganization, corporate strategy and board advisory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with client deliverables for business valuations, fairness / solvency opinions, expert reports, tangible and intangible assets, financial instruments, transactions and other related services.
- Assist in the collection, synthesis and analysis of data obtained through client interviews, market research and internal sources.
- Perform technical analysis of client provided information and market research to aid in the development of valuation opinions through discounted cash flows (DCF), public company multiples and comparable transactions.
- Detailed analysis of financial statements (SEC Filings), purchase agreements and contracts.
- Develop complex Microsoft Excel based financial models.
- Draft and review technical reports, memos and analyses to be delivered to the client for financial reporting (e.g. ASC 805, 350), tax planning, management planning, fairness and solvency opinions, expert witness and restructuring.
- Assist with various assignments to support financial due diligence, deal advisory, forensics or restructuring projects.
