Job Overview:
Loop is seeking a full-time Finance Manager who will report to the CEO and work closely with the Head of Creative Production. This role requires a full-time in office presence Monday-Thursday at Loop HQ in DUMBO Brooklyn, NY.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the month-end close process. This includes revenue recognition, updating work papers, making accruals, weekly bank recs, CC reconciliations, depreciation and preparing ME journal entries.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and present regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends, variances, and financial performance
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Develop and maintain financial models and budget forecasts to support strategic financial planning and decision-making
- Liaise with external CPA to provide financial information for quarterly tax filings and year - end K1 preparation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience (5 years) in a finance management role, preferably within an advertising or creative agency environment
- Strong understanding of financial principles, GAAP, and budgeting processes
