In this role, you’ll not only help to evolve our brand and bring it to life across all that we do, but you’ll also work to keep a pulse on what’s happening within the company and use your communication and creativity superpowers to broadcast it through thought leadership content, our social channels, PR program, and anywhere else our audiences are listening.

This role sits on our Brand & Communications team (the creative muscle of the marketing department). It will have you partnering with our content and design teams regularly, and a variety of teams across the company, where the work you’re doing will be some of the most visible being created at Loopio.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage our brand strategy and bring it to life: You’ll work closely with the leader of our Brand & Communications team to evolve our brand strategy, and will help bring it to life through all that we do––both by creating brand-specific campaigns, creative assets, and experiences and also through the management of brand resources that keep the work others do on-brand and on-message.

  • Lead our corporate and executive thought leadership initiatives: Oversee the production of strategic corporate and executive thought leadership content, ranging from blog posts, strategic content assets, guidance on presentations, and more. Keep a pulse on the market as it relates to thought leadership and positioning.

  • Build and manage our public relations program: We’re looking for someone to build a PR program that scales with us, someone who can manage our incoming PR opportunities, proactively pitch new opportunities, and ensure we’re always putting our best foot forward.

  • Support employee speaking efforts: Loopers get a lot of requests from event organizers, podcasts, and other publications to speak or share their point of view, and we need someone to manage the intake of these requests, prep team members, think through promotion, and coach them on how to do their best.

  • Manage our brand presence on social media: Capture the magic moments happening at Loopio, including events, company milestones, and employer initiatives, and help us get those messages out through our social media channels in fun and interesting ways. Collaboration with other teams plays a critical role here too.

  • Collaborate across the company: This role partners with many teams at Loopio, and no two days will be the same. One day you’re launching a new brand initiative. The next you’re working with our People team on our Employer Brand or putting the finishing touches on an award application for Loopio. What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • 3 years of experience managing/executing on brand and communications projects (preferably in tech and/or a B2B company).

  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal skills are essential, with presentation skills being a bonus.

  • Passion and opinions on what it takes to build an exceptional brand, along with experience managing the activities that support it, including foundational work, brand campaigns, creative assets, and experiences.

  • A strong execution muscle––this is an execution-focused role that requires lots of content creation, including long and short-form content, press releases, award applications, presentations, social posts, and more.

  • Experience managing public relations efforts and executing on activities that included both proactive opportunities and (the occasional) reactive work

  • Strong project management skills to manage long-term strategic initiatives, complex projects, and a steady flow of smaller requests

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills are essential

Where You’ll Work

  • Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQ’d in Canada, with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.

  • Our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), London, and India (specifically in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru).

  • The majority of our team is based in ON and BC, which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC).

  • We offer flexible co-working locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient co-working space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!

  • You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday
