We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting parts, equipment and tools to various job sites and to provide assistance in our warehouse. This is a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient job completion for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate delivery vehicles to transport items to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual method
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to lift up to 50-lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
- Work Hours - Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:30pm
