Schedules
- We have multiple available clients currently looking for permanent caregivers
- We do have a need for weekend caregivers as well as during the week.
- We are needing to hire caregivers that are able to work both weekends and other days as well.
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in home community care and a strong understanding of care plans, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, including those with specific needs such as autism and hospice care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accordingly.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client’s living space to promote a safe and healthy environment.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of care plans, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and ADLs is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or in hospice care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with health regulations as required by the organization.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties such as lifting or assisting clients as needed.
