What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker, PART-TIME position at Lorain County Community Action Agency?
Participates in the daily distribution of meals for infants, toddlers and preschool children.
Essential Job Functions:
- Receive all food delivered by Food Services Drivers and complete accompanying transport slip: record temperatures for each food item, sign off that all food is received;
- Transfers food from hot boxes to containers and bowls and delivers to classrooms;
- Picks up food containers from classrooms and washes dishes including service bowls, containers, portioning spoons and all other food service utensils;
- Properly label and date all foods for service or storage;
- Ensures kitchen area is clean, orderly and well maintained;
- As needed, drive between sites to assist in operations
- Abides by all applicable Agency rules and regulations;
- Other duties as assigned by the Site Administrator, Food Service Supervisor or appropriate supervisor.
Qualifications:
1. High school graduate or equivalent required.
2. Ability to work well with others.
3. Ability to maintain good relationships with young children.
4. Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License. Acceptable driving record according to Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
5. Must be insurable under the Agency's policy.
Pay: $16.61 - $19.93 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
