What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Executive Assistant position at Lorain County Community College?
The Executive Assistant reports directly to the Vice President for Strategic & Institutional Development. The Executive Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to: the full range of administrative special projects and administrative support; exercising extensive latitude to acting independently within the broad guidelines established by the Vice President to manage, coordinate and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion with an accurate manner; serving as the primary contact and liaison between faculty, staff, students and external community; and serving as liaison between the Vice President and members of the media. The Office of Strategic and Institutional Development works collaboratively with College staff members to respond to the needs of the campus and the community. The incumbent will develop office procedures and guidelines in collaboration with the Vice President to meet internal and external requirements and expectations, including managing budgets and staffing committees. The Executive Assistant must maintain strict confidentiality and be able to work within flexible working conditions.
