Duties
in the maintenance of passenger vans. Reports to the Warehouse Associate who is available to resolve problems. Typical duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Receive, check and distribute items delivered to the campus, verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders, and ensure items are in good condition
- Record receipt of items using Oracle Cloud software
- Pick up and prepare outgoing shipments to ensure properly packed and labeled
- Operation of area specific equipment, including tow-motor (forklift) and pallet-jack.
- Assist with light maintenance and recordkeeping of assigned vehicles. Assist with vehicle dispatch when reserved by campus community
- Assist with disposition of equipment entering the surplus cycle
- May perform courier functions to support off campus locations
- May support functions of Mail Center operations as needed
- General use of typical office administrative software such as Microsoft Office
- Works in an office and non-office environment
- Provide customer service to internal and external clients to answer questions and assist with problem resolution
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to a seventy-five-pound package
- Experience in tow-motor (forklift) operation required
- Ability to work in areas of varied temperature
- Ability to walk across various surfaces while pushing material carts
- Experience with typical office software, such as Microsoft Office and email
- Two years' experience in a similar warehouse environment
- Valid certification for tow-motor (forklift) operation
- Experience with Oracle Cloud software
