STARTING DATE:
July 1, 2025
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on the Administrative Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education.
REPORTS TO:
High School Principal
BENEFITS:

220 Day Work Year as per Board-adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Five or more years verified successful teaching experience, preferably in career and technical education
Earned Master’s Degree or higher
Ohio Licensure as a supervisor, principal, administrative specialist, or ability to attain by June 30, 2025 for this position
Willingness to work with local business & industry to develop partnerships for Career Tech programs
Able and willing to obtain van driving permit and ability to pass criminal background check
Prior experience supervising students both in and out of the classroom
Excellent understanding of career and technical programming
Proven ability to communicate ideas and directives effectively, both orally and in writing
Exemplary organizational and problem solving skills
Willingness to actively participate in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO’s)
Effective, active listening skills
Excellent public relations skills
Team player, willingness to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent understanding of technology and how it can be successfully used to enhance the teaching/learning process
Experience working with teachers, parents/guardians in difficult situations
Experience with the budgetary process as it relates to school finance
Working knowledge of school and special education law
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
OTES and OSCES Evaluator Certification, or willingness to obtain by September, 2025
Ability to analyze district data in order to plan for the success of all students
Ability to plan and implement professional learning opportunities as needed
Ability to present information to individuals, small groups, and large groups in a clear and compelling manner
Proven understanding of current teaching methods and strategies
Ability to lead a diverse teacher team effectively
Experience working with diverse stakeholders in difficult situations
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in a leadership/management role.
Proven experience working directly with a wide variety of career tech programs
3 or more years of previous administrative experience
Previous experience handling student discipline
Previous experience working with special needs students
Prior experience working with students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
