What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firefighter Skills Instructor/Evaluator position at Lorain County JVS?
The skills evaluator assists in meeting the mandated 5 students to 1 instructor ratio for firefighting skills for high school students under the direction of the high school Public Safety instructor.
Minimum Requirements :
5 years of firefighting experience
Ohio Certification as Fire Instructor, Assistant Fire Instructor, or Fire and Emergency Services Instructor
Familiarity of Ohio Firefighter Level 1 and / or Level 2 certification
Desireable Qualifications :
Interest in working with high school students
Prior instructor / training experience
