Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Instructor, Automation Maintenance Technician at Lorain County JVS in Lorain, OH. The role involves day-to-day activities related to instructing students in automation maintenance techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Automation Maintenance skills
- Technical training or certification in the field
- Experience in program instruction or teaching
- Knowledge of emerging automation technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus
Competencies
Background and experience in the following areas is helpful: Introduction to Supply Chain Automation, Practicing Safety in the Workplace, Types of PPE, HIM Operation, Programmable Controller Operation, PLC Ethernet Communication, Basic PLC Program Instructions, Control Logic Circuits, Electrical Control Diagrams, Relay Control Circuits, Based on MSSC CTSCA-ER Curriculum. Candidate will receive MSSC Instructor Training.
