Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Lakeview Parks Sunset Cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and stocking the kitchen with all necessary supplies, preparing food, plating dishes, and working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time. They will also maintain and clean kitchen equipment, including fryers, stove, oven, grill, and dish machine, while ensuring that kitchen operations meet food safety standards and regulations set forth by the Ohio Department of Health.
The requirements for this role include proven cooking experience, Management certification in food protection from the Ohio Department of Health, and excellent understanding of various cooking methods, equipment, and procedures. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to lift 50 pounds, and work evenings and weekends. A valid Ohio driver's license or State ID is also required.
