Flex Work Eligible: This position qualifies for the Flexible Work Policy. Employees receive 75 workdays annually to work remote. The initial number of days is prorated for the first year based on start date.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data assets. This role involves implementing and monitoring data governance frameworks and standards, performing data analytics to solve complex data-related problems, and administering the Power BI environment. The analyst supports strategic decision-making through collaboration with diverse stakeholders and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Data Analysis & Problem Solving
- Perform data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Provide support in resolving data-related issues and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Data Governance Framework Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business operations, compliance, and legal teams to define data governance objectives and requirements.
- Facilitate data governance meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
- Provide training and support to users on data governance practices.
- Communicate data governance initiatives and progress to stakeholders.
- Initiate and champion data governance initiatives.
- Facilitate data stewardship and promote a culture of data accountability.
Power BI Administration
- Serve as the administrator for the Power BI environment, managing user access, configurations, and reporting functionalities.
- Oversee workspace management and work with stakeholders to promote reports and dashboards into a productive area.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience:
- 5-7 years : Experience working with data governance frameworks, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
- Experience administering and managing Power BI environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.
Starting pay for the position is between $93,900 - $117,450
