This manufacturing project engineer position is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of high-level projects by providing accurate manufacturing project schedules and solutions to design challenges and production delays. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and ensure alignment with customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing the manufacturing build cost estimate based on customer requirements defined in the product definition.
- Developing the manufacturing project schedule by studying the project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
- Driving scheduling details through demand in the ERP system using backward scheduling for initial project creation.
- Supporting project management as part of the cross-functional project team, taking the lead on manufacturing activities and updates.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 5 years' related experience, 3 years' experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
- Or 2 years' of Loram manufacturing or engineering experience.
