This role offers a remote work model (Remote position, however, must live within driving distance to the local office as occasional onsite work may be required.) You will work directly with the HR Director and CFO to manage bi-weekly payroll processing for 100 employees across multiple states. This role encompasses payroll administration, benefits support, and year-end reporting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities : Process bi-weekly payroll for 100 employees, ensuring accuracy and timelinessManage multi-state tax compliance and reporting requirementsReview and validate employee timesheets, PTO requests, and attendance recordsMaintain and administer electronic timekeeping systemTrack and process payroll deductions and special exceptionsCoordinate with HR and other departments to maintain accurate employee dataEnsure FLSA compliance and proper overtime calculationsSupport HR Director with benefits administration and annual auditsManage year-end payroll processing and reporting requirementsMaintain comprehensive employee records and process changes in accordance with company policiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsRequired Qualifications : Associate degree in HR, Business, Finance, or Accounting; Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 3 years of recent, comprehensive payroll experienceDemonstrated expertise in multi-state taxationProficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly ExcelExperience with automated payroll systems (Coastal Payroll preferred)Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirementsPreferred Qualifications : Experience with ACA reporting and Form 1095 processingBackground in benefits administrationAdvanced Excel skillsRequired Skills : Exceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentialitySuperior written and verbal communication skillsCapability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyAdditional Requirements : Immediate availability requiredNo pre-planned vacations for first 6 months of employmentBenefits of Joining Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP : Excellent teams and work life balanceHybrid, Remote or In-Office Work ModelsMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceVision InsuranceLong Term DisabilityFlex Spending PlanAFLAC401K Employer MatchThe anticipated compensation for this role falls between $50,000 and $60,000 annually.
