Job Overview:
We are looking for a Business Partner to join our Human Capital Management Team. People are our greatest strength. We’ll trust you to:
- Advise and coach leaders on a full range of people issues, providing guidance and challenge leaders on how to effectively manage change and talent within the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, in our leader-led model, to align human resource strategies with business objectives and provide insights and recommendations to support organizational goals and drive performance.
- Partner with the Head of Compensation, Benefit and People-Operations to deliver a seamless human resources experience to employees – combining rewards and data initiatives with the evolving talent objectives of the organization.
- Drive results based on business goals and strategies by defining and executing specific people-focused initiatives, including talent-related initiatives and employee development programs.
- Build credible relationships with leaders by combining business understanding and human resources expertise, to provide meaningful insights and advice.
- Use data, metrics, and internal/external trends to provide leaders with insights to enhance engagement and inform decisions, organizational structure, and key talent projects.
- Design and provide training to leaders on how to deal with difficult situations, year-end process, workforce planning, succession management, and goal setting.
- Support employee inquiries that are not addressed in our Centers of Excellence (e.g., career coaching)
- Effectively align our people strategy to the business strategy and connect with support functions such as Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Recruitment, etc.
- Coach leaders to resolve complex matters in a consistent, thoughtful and direct manner.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies; develop and implement human resources policies for fairness and consistency.
- Display confidence, emotional intelligence, and decisiveness in all interactions.
You'll need to have:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7-10 years of human resource experience, in financial services or asset management. Buy-side asset management experience is preferred in an investment function or team
- Expertise in consulting senior business leaders on organizational strategy and alignment
- Proven success in a player-coach environment, building strong connections with leaders
- Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to human resources issues
- Proven ability to present and analyze people-related data to guide talent strategy
- Superb verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information
- Highly motivated attitude that inspires higher performance
- Proficiency in people-related software and Microsoft Office Suite (UKG Pro, iCIMS, CompXL preferred)
- Ability to work both in a team and independently, with strong attention to detail
- Adaptability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Maturity, discretion, and sound judgment in complex decisions
- Excellent judgment, independent thinking, and resourcefulness

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $125,000-$160,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
