The Role
Product Management Team
Lord Abbett’s Product Management team is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy and execution for growing our products across markets, focusing on four critical functions:
The team is aligned with the product lifecycle, with one group focused on earlier stage products that can grow into Market Ready and ultimately Market Leading products, and a group focused on overseeing the strategy for our current Market Leading products. This current opening is for a role focused on Market Ready products.
The Product Specialist Role
This is a key role within Product Management, responsible covering an investment capability at the firm. This role will work closely with senior leaders in Marketing and across Product Management with key deliverables:
We’ll trust you to:
- 5 years related experience
- Build and refine product materials that best position us to engage with prospects and clients. .
- Develop product scaling plans that illustrate our strategy to grow in a specific market.
- Engage regularly with the Investment Strategist Group to continuously refine product positioning exhibits, marketing collateral, and embedded capital markets content in pitchbooks.
- Own how our products are represented across all mediums .
- Partner with Market Strategy, Investment Strategists, Digital, and Sales to execute scaling plans.
- Position our products through standard portfolio commentaries and questionnaire responses.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives
- Support Relationship Management and Sales with portfolio reviews and strategy updates via virtual meetings, conference calls, and some in-person meetings with financial advisors and partner firms.
- Lead sales trainings across all markets
You'll need to have:
- Fluency in capital markets/asset classes, economics, securities, investment strategies, and the asset management industry.
- Strong content creation skills in pitchbooks, bespoke materials, and multiple media formats, with the ability to distill complex ideas and topics effectively.
- Experience creating effective product and capital markets-related content.
- Project management and execution experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and client engagement skills.
- Proactive approach to work and learning.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 ( bonus). Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
