Job Overview:

Lord Abbett seeks to hire a municipal bond research analyst to work in the firm’s Jersey City headquarters. This position is in a growing department with more than $38 billion of municipal bond assets under management and will focus on credit analysis for the firm’s mutual funds and separately managed accounts.

We’ll trust you to:

The work will include financial statement analysis, fundamental credit analysis and sector analysis primarily for general obligation bonds and water and sewer bonds. An analyst will make judgments regarding new investment opportunities and maintain surveillance over existing holdings. The analyst will work closely with portfolio managers.

You'll need to have:

The preferred amount of municipal market experience is 1 to 5 years although similar experience in related areas will be considered. Candidates must have a college degree.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $125,000-$175,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
