Description
Lord Baltimore Uniform is seeking a skilled Production Associate II to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a Production Associate II, you will be responsible for completing scheduled embroidery and heat seal transfer jobs promptly, performing basic maintenance and upkeep of the equipment, and troubleshooting any issues related to embroidering. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing support to the Direct Sale Production Manager in various roles, including clerical duties, intake of UPS/FedEx, general filing, checking in garments against packing slips and garment order forms, etc.
Reports to: Direct Sales Production Manager
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
• Carefully reading instructional manuals to ensure smooth troubleshooting and repair processes.
• Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
• Communicating with clients and ensuring that all orders are sent out in a timely manner.
• Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
• Complete scheduled embroidery and heat seal transfer jobs promptly
• Troubleshoot any issues related to embroidering
• Keep embroidery and transfer supply inventory up to date
• Always have a clean and neat work area
• Responsible for the quality of the finished product
• Accurately check-in product against manufacturer packing slips and internal purchase orders
• Assemble orders according to work order instructions and report any discrepancies
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.
• Previous experience as an embroidery machine operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing and walking. The ability to stand for 7 hours of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to stretch, lift, twist, and bend continuously throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to follow written and oral directions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
