A well-established, 40-attorney, plaintiff-side, litigation boutique seeks to hire for its Manhattan office (hybrid in office) a midlevel or senior associate for a position focused on a mix of securities class actions and consumer, data privacy, and IP class actions. If someone has a significant interest in focusing on securities class actions, the role can over time become very largely focused in that space. The firm seeks someone with strong writing skills and ideally complex or class action litigation experience. They offer a friendly environment and high attorney morale. Base salary would be $140,000-180,000, depending on seniority and experience, plus a year-end bonus of about $20,000-60,000 or so (with significant upside beyond that over time), and the attorney would likely work about 50 hours per week. The firm pays an associate’s health insurance premiums, and they offer a percentage match on the 401(k) plan. I have placed two associates with the firm and have good ties there.
