Job Title: Adventure Vacation Bible School (VBS) Staff 2025
Position Summary: To provide leadership for Adventure VBS.
Department: Children, Youth, and Family (CYF)
Reports to Children, Youth, and Family Elementary Ministry Director
Supervises: Middle School and High school volunteers
Status: Part-time
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hours Worked Per Week: 30-35 hours per week as scheduled. Includes:
Adventure VBS Staff & Volunteer Training (July 20, time TBD)
Week 1: July 21-24, Week 2: July 28-31, Week 3: August 4-7
Essential Functions:
- Lead programming for Adventure VBS
- Lead and actively participate in worships, skits, music, field trips, and activities
- Teach and supervise elementary school students
- Supervise high school/middle school volunteers
- Must be able to climb stairs, sit on the floor, and stand for hours at a time
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
Principal Functions:
- Lead Bible studies, games, devotions, and other activities
- Supervise/lead on field trips and during service projects
- Build relationships with children and youth
- Actively participate with students in all activities
- Connect activities to a life of faith

- High school graduate
Experience/Knowledge:
- Previous experience working with children and families
