Position Summary
The General Manager for Disaster Restoration and Indoor Air Quality oversees all operational aspects of the business, including project management, customer relations, staff supervision, and financial oversight within the disaster restoration and indoor air quality sectors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Develops and implements business and marketing strategies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Manages budgets, fostering client relationships, and leading a team of professionals to achieve excellence in service delivery.
· Builds and maintains relationships with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to promote business development and customer satisfaction.
· Stays informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Makes recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
· Handles escalated customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring resolution and customer satisfaction.
· Ensures that all employees receive proper training, certifications, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, environmental science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
· Proven track record in a managerial role within the restoration or indoor air quality industry
· Strong knowledge of disaster restoration processes, indoor air quality testing, and remediation techniques.
· Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex projects under tight deadlines.
· A commitment to customer satisfaction, employee development, and continuous improvement in service standards is essential.
· Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
· Ability to work well under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in computer software applications, including project management tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
