Server
Lore, established and run by chef Jay Kumar, is seeking passionate servers to join our team!
We are looking for a service team member to support the front-of-house and provide thoughtful service.
All candidates must have previous NYC restaurant experience, great social skills, and be organized, detail-oriented and kind. This person should have a command of service, wine, spirits, and food knowledge in tandem with understanding how to manage a section consistently with tact and grace. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and has basic knowledge and sincere appreciation in food, beverage, and service.
The position is full-time and/or part-time which requires evening and weekend availability. We will work with every member to ensure a healthy balance, as well as provide education and other tools needed to succeed. To apply, please respond to this post with your resume. REQUIRED:

- Ability to multi-task a myriad of floor responsibilities - including table marking, proper wine glass placement & general table maintenance
- Ability to speak confidently about the menu items and to offer guidance in the ordering of food and beverage

- Strong sense of awareness
- Ability to properly represent the restaurant’s vision and philosophy
- Open Availability required
- Understanding of wine styles, grape varieties and vinification methods
- Minimum 2 year experience in a NYC or metropolitan restaurants
- Knowledge of Resy and lightspeed
