What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Designer position at Loren Cook Company?
We are currently expanding our Engineering team and looking for an experienced Product/CAD Designer to design and document air moving equipment under the guidance of a Design Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and assemblies of equipment as required for assigned project.
- Generate the required 2D drawings to document the design and communicate requirements to production personnel and/or customers.
- Support production as required to communicate design intent to shop personnel.
- Collaborate with Design Engineer on the development of products to ensure that design standards and structural integrity are maintained.
- Maintain existing drawings and complete work within the Engineering Change system as required.
Qualifications, Experience & Education:
- Degree in Drafting/Design or Industrial Technology
- Experience in mechanical design utilizing CAD software
- Hands-on design experience with sheet metal products
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor desired
