Summary:
This position will work with English and native Spanish populations, providing the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment. The Recruiter position includes: job posting, screening, scheduling, interviewing, hiring/onboarding processes, as well as, outside recruiting. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Hiring Managers and Human Resources internal colleagues, vendors, trade organizations, schools and other team members to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop proactive, creative sourcing and recruiting strategies.
· Development of a hiring process, including recruiting, advertising, screening job candidates, developing and administering job-related selection instruments.
· Understand production positions to effectively fill positions with the right skill set.
· Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to assist in building strong teams.
· Develop, implement, and manage an effective internship program.
· Ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.
· Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups.
· Coordinate and attend college recruiting and career fairs.
· Research and implement social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
· Participate in continuing education and training to enhance knowledge of our company, market changes, and industry trends.
· Responsible for Company Facebook page and updating of all social media.
· Works with temporary staffing agencies for potential candidates and coordinating facility tours. Reviews staffing invoice for actual temporary hours worked.
· Creates and updates open positions.
· Serves as the first point of contact for applicants.
· Communicates proactively via phone, email, and text.
· Provides status updates throughout the selection process.
· Research new employee trends for hiring.
· Running background checks and assessments on applicants.
· Administers onboarding processes for new hires.
· Employee job satisfaction and engagement initiatives.
· Compliance with all appropriate state and federal laws, regulations and maintains related records. E-Verify new hires.
· Maintains a centralized personnel recordkeeping system and ensures compliance with Minnesota Data Practices Act and record retention requirements.
· Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records and documentation.
· Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
· Assists with planning and execution of special events such as Company picnic, recruiting events, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday events, and retirement celebrations.
· Create and maintain Human Resource SOPs.
· Backup to payroll position during vacations.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to employment.
· 1 years’ experience using LinkedIn, Facebook, really, Job Fairs, etc.
· Experience recruiting in the food industry preferred.
Work Environment
This job operates in a causal office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers. Standing/walking in cold (40F) and warm temperatures in production for tours.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a nonexempt full-time position. The hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday work may be required as job duties demand. Flexible to work a partial evening to support a special event on 2nd shift or recruiting events.
Travel
Occasional out-of-the-area travel during the day. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
