Entry level Engineer
Requirements :
1. Must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an ABET accredited institution (Please specify in the notes section)
2. 0-2 years’ experience in a civil or utilities design background
3. PPE = Steel toed boots. Vest, hardhat, hearing / eye protection provided on site.
4. Hybrid = Monday and Friday are remote. Tuesday - Thursday are onsite. May change depending on project requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and create designs related to transportation, pressure improvement, system renewals, relocations, and new business projects for the department.
- Design and size meter and regulator sets, including overpressure protection systems.
- Gather and analyze records for use in system uprating procedures.
- Provide design options and guidance to enhance the performance of the distribution system.
- Support field and construction operations by offering design and technical assistance as required.
- Prepare work order designs, including drafting, investigating land rights, and ensuring designs adhere to company specifications, federal codes, and standards.
- Manage design projects by tracking key components, including permitting, approval status, and construction progress.
