DC Power Installer - Level IV
Location: VT, NH (travel required)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced DC Power Installation Technician (Level IV) to join a leading power conversion technology provider. This role involves supervising projects, installing and troubleshooting DC power systems, and managing documentation. The position requires 7 years of experience in DC power equipment and 5 years in cable-related work. We will need an individual who is flexible and willing to travel throughout VT and NH.
What you'll do:
- Assume Site Supervisor responsibilities and take charge of small to medium-sized service projects, ensuring on-time completion and top-notch installation quality.
- Install, remove, and troubleshoot DC power systems, batteries, and associated equipment.
- Actively power-up and test electrical circuits.
- Configuring and setting parameters for electrical control devices.
- Manage weekly tool inventory, create clear and concise Method of Procedure (MOP) and Job Information Memorandum (JIM) documents.
- Support installation, commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.
Job Requirements:
- 7 yrs. of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting DC power equipment.
- 5 yrs. of experience in cable pulling, sewing, racking, and bay mounting.
- Experience programming and configuring programmable logic controllers (PLC's).
- Experience Energizing Low Transfers.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory due to the travel requirements of the role.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- AC Electrical experience is preferred.
