SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Dillsburg, PA. This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in South Central PA, Maryland and surrounding areas.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to safely operate and maintain various types of equipment (i.e. Excavators, Mini Excavator, Back Hoes, Skid Loaders, Graders, etc.)
- Must be able to follow construction diagrams
- Must be able to perform pre-operations safety inspections
- Ability to take direction from site foreman to complete daily tasks and meet project goals for job site
- Travels from job site to job site when/as needed
- Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment
- Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
- Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience and knowledge of concrete construction
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines
- Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
- Must follow all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
