Wood Framing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring smooth execution of wood framing and construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the project.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications to provide clear direction to the site team.
• Monitor project timelines and schedules, proactively addressing any delays or challenges.
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring proper material usage, structural integrity, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety logs, and inspection records.
• Provide leadership and guidance to on-site workers, fostering a team-oriented and safety-focused work environment.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues efficiently, implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Uphold a culture of safety, enforcing OSHA guidelines and best practices to prevent workplace hazards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in wood framing or general construction, with a strong understanding of framing techniques and structural requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and ensure project success.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications (OSHA, Construction Management, etc.) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
