Job Details
The Data Architect is a key member of the Data Integration project team and is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping client business requirements from the project team to systems/technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- 12-15 years of Informatica (Powercenter & cloud IICS) data integration, Asset Management, and relevant implementation experience
- 10 year of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing / ETL Development
- 8 years of Informatica ETL experience
- 8 years of SQL experience
- 3 years of Snowflake database experience
- Working experience in Informatica ETL tool and Snowflake Data Warehouse are preferred.
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on On-Prem or Cloud Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure using data integration technologies Informatica-PowerCenter & Cloud, Snowflake
- Design and optimize data models for ODS, Data Lake, Data mart etc. with different databases like Oracle, SQL Server, AWS RDS, Redshift, Snowflake.
- Design operations architecture and conduct performance engineering for large scale data lakes.
- Participate in client design workshops and provide trade-offs and recommendations towards building solutions.
- Design, solution and implement data architecture and ETL for ODS platform.
- Work with various stakeholders including data, design, product teams, business users and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert SME lead for Informatica IICS, Snowflake, Data models.
- Take the lead on building methodologies and sharing knowledge across the business
- Own any technical disputes preventing successful service delivery and proactive management of relevant company resources and communications towards successful resolution
- Be considered a go-to person for the core Informatica products
- Demonstrate high level technical knowledge of competitive approaches and product
- Ensure technical delivery is in line with the Statement of Work SoW scope agreed and highlight any potential changes to SoW scope to the Engagement Manager in a timely manner.
- Augment the companys body of knowledge by ownership and validation of best practice collateral generated by self and others in the form of technical papers or presentations to colleagues and contributing to community-based media.
- Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements.
- Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities. Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities.
- Should have participated in, and be familiar with project methodologies such as Scrum etc.
- Proven Solutions consulting experience.
- Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture.
- Experience working with source code management tools such as GitHub.
