Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the designated supervisor, schedules and conducts day-to-day recreation activities and special events, programs, and assures the safety of participants. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months’ experience in recreation programs, customer service or youth leadership.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess or have ability to obtain within first sixty days of employment and must maintain a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license. (Temporary positions must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of hire.)
- Must successfully complete a thorough background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Recreation, Education, or related field.
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Experience with pre-season ice rink preparations and driving an ice resurfacing machine.
- Certified Ice Technician (CIT).
