Stores food, beverages, and supplies in designated containers and areas according to policies and procedures.
Assists with customer-facing duties as assigned, including tray delivery and catering special events.
Assists with sanitation duties, including dishwashing and maintaining work and and food service areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Processes dietary order and keeps daily diet sheet current. Assures patients have the appropriate menu completed and follows up on questionable food choices.
Has basic knowledge of therapeutic diets and can located additional information when needed for clarification.
Accurately assembles trays in a neat and orderly fashion. Assists with preparing food and beverages for distribution to patients, guest, service/dining areas, and catering services.
Stores food, beverages, and supplies in proper storage of food deliveries.
Restocks patient serving area and assists in proper storage of food deliveries.
Assists cooks and lead cooks, under their direction, with prepping for employee and patient meals.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous food service experience preferred.
NM Food Handler's card must be obtained within thirty (30) days from hire.
