What You Will Do
The Sigma Operations Group (Sigma-OPS) is seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented individual with extensive customer service experience to join the Programmatic Operations Support team. The individual chosen for this position will be required to perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, training administration, records management, and procurement. The selected candidate will be expected to operate with initiative, professionalism, dependability, and flexibility within the organization.
Sigma Division focuses on materials science and engineering, emphasizing metallurgical processes and research in support of the experimental testing program at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Sigma-OPS is a customer-service based group that supports the programmatic operational needs of Sigma Division.

Education/Experience: Position requires a associate's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and 4 years of directly related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.

- Oversee document control responsibilities.
- Lead records management initiative for division.
- Spearhead training administrator activities.
- Assist with placing and tracking procurements.
- Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience identifying training requirements for operations and ability to dissect policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of document quality assurance including records and inventory management processes.
- Demonstrated experience in decision making, organization, prioritizing tasks, and taking initiative.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Demonstrated organization skills with close attention to detail.
- Demonstrated customer service skills including collaboration with internal and external customers.
- Ability to provide clear, concise communication and guidance.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of business and operations systems and software such as Microsoft 365 suite.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Understanding of LANL's learning management system, UTrain.
