SUMMARY:
Prepares students to respond appropriately to the education program. The Physical Therapist works with team members in the school to enable the student to work toward his/her potential by improving, developing, or restoring sensor motor function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Directs or consultative services to identified handicapped students.
- Problem solves to meet the student's ever-changing needs.
- Liaison with school personnel, family, physician and agencies through written and/or oral communication.
- Equipment ordering, adaptation, fabrication and repair.
- Attend and participate in IEPC, MET team meetings etc.
- Evaluation, assessment and screening of students
- Planning to meet individual student's and program needs.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate records, reports and procedures.
- Set-up, maintenance and cleaning of treatment areas and P.T. equipment.
- Travel to meet job requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises students.

- $65,000 to $88,000 (dependent on license and experience)
- 1.00 FTE (40 hours a week)
- 188 Contract work day- August 5th, 2025-May 29th, 2025
Salary : $65,000 - $88,000
