Plans/implements program of study, creates classroom environment conducive to learning, guides learning process toward curriculum goals, establishes clear objectives for all lessons/units/projects and communicates these to students, assesses accomplishments of student and provides progress reports as required, counsels with colleagues/students/parents on a regular basis, assists the administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life and conduct, develops rules of classroom behavior and procedures, maintains classroom order, attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required, assists in selection of books/equipment/instructional materials, maintains accurate/complete/correct records as required.
- Must possess an active New Mexico Public Education Special Education K-12 teaching license
- Salary Range Level 1 to Level 3 ranging from $55,492 to $86,388
- Experience taken into account on salary schedule
- 195 Day Contract (8 hours per day)
