What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Game Day Staff position at Los Angeles Chargers?
This position will assist with all communication dept. needs pre, during and post-game, assist with gathering post-game quotes and transcriptions as well as host Chargers Legends, influencers and celebrity guests.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Assist with press box and post-game interview room set up, stats distribution, Internal PA, Media Will Call and other logistical needs throughout game day.
- Assist with broadcast network and radio booths set-up and stat distribution
- Assist with managing on-field media rooms and vest distribution
- Gather post game quotes from home and visiting teams
- Transcribe post-game quotes
- Serve as a host and escort for Chargers Legends, influencers and celebrity guests
Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to attend all Chargers home games
- Candidates must be able to transcribe.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Candidates must always exhibit a professional attitude and work well in a team environment.
Applicant must:
- Have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Have a current driver’s license
