Salary Range: $20.50 - $20.50 Hourly
Description
The Receiving Associate is responsible for Receiving and delivering all shipments/packages on a daily basis during the LA County Fair. This includes the recording and tracking of shipper numbers and signatures of receiving parties.
Qualifications
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
- Ability to work well with other departments and the public is essential
- Must possess a valid driver license
- Must be forklift certified
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be able to handle UPS freight packages
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of UPS procedures
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
- Must be able to work in extreme weather, such as heat, cold, or rain
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to be on your feet for several hours a day and lift up to 25 pounds
