We are a growing civil litigation law firm that is hiring litigation attorneys in all locations.This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is ready to personally handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters including law and motion from the outset, through discovery, and on to mediation, arbitration, and / or trial.The ideal candidate has experience handling their own caseload, court appearances, discovery, depositions, and expert depositions.Opportunities in SIU (examinations under oath) and large loss / catastrophic claims.Trial experience a plus but not required; however, we are looking for individuals in our large loss team who have prepared and worked up matters for trial, including taking and defending expert depositions.Requirements of an Associate Attorney Draft case management orders, organize and analyze case information, and provide reports to carrier.Draft motions (including but not limited to motions for summary judgment and discovery motions).Make court appearances as necessary.Respond to written discovery.Efficiently conduct legal research.Current Member of California State Bar with no record of discipline.
