Job Summary

The Assistant Principal serves as part of the Administrative and Instructional Teams. The AP is responsible for supporting the department’s administration as necessary by bringing evidence-based practices on campus with the goal of increasing student engagement, improving student achievement, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. The Assistant Principal promotes academic excellence through high-quality educational standards, consistent student discipline, collecting and tracking data, monitoring student growth, recommending curricular and intervention responses, and effectively implementing behavior incentive programs. The AP oversees student support services and partnerships including classroom instructional aides, ASP to support students with IEPs and 504s, and collaborations with student care and campus safety. This person actively oversees student events, promoting a culture of excellence and achievement. UCA recognizes administration as integral part of the 5-fold ministry given to the church in Ephesians 4:11-13. As such, UCA teachers serve as ministers to help advance the mission and vision of United Christian Academy.
