Job Summary
The Development Services and Stewardship Manager ensures the integrity and efficiency of development operations, playing a key role in the School’s fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for managing the Salesforce database, overseeing gift processing and financial reporting, conducting prospect research, and leading donor stewardship initiatives. As a member of the Development team, this role collaborates closely with colleagues to support fundraising strategies and enhance donor engagement. This is an onsite, in-person role that requires being in the office Monday-Friday, five days per week. Key Responsibilities: Development Services & Database Management Manage Salesforce as the primary database administrator, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system efficiency. Optimize Salesforce use across the Development Team, including custom reports, dashboards, and campaigns. Oversee gift processing and ensure all gifts and pledges are recorded accurately in Salesforce and through the online giving platform (Classy). Provide support to the Business Office for audit purposes and financial reporting. Prospect Research & Donor Stewardship Lead prospect research efforts to identify and evaluate potential donors through multiple wealth screening and research tools. Create comprehensive donor research profiles to support fundraising efforts. Participate in developing strategy, ask amounts, and solicitation approaches. Write content and edit Development publications, reports, letters, and emails. Project manage stewardship efforts, reports, and publications, including the Annual Report. Skills and abilities: Strong knowledge of database management principles and logic. Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
